INSTRUCTOR - CARRIE SWING
      


Carrie Swing, is a graduate of Chatham College in Pittsburgh, PA, where she studied with James Walker and David Tessmer. She received a Master in Arts in Music from Marshall University where she was the student of Wendell Dobbs. Besides her private studio, she teaches in several area schools and occasionally at Marshall University and West Virginia State, performs with a number of area ensembles including the Kanawha Valley Community Band, and is an occasional contributor to Flute Talk Magazine. Professional affiliations include the National Flute Association, West Virginia Music Educators Association and  Music Educators National Conference.
